...About ten feet away stood the blond from the library, dressed in what looked like a one piece bathing suit with a bunny tail, a large watch hanging at her waist, and a pair of bunny ears.
“Ya’ve got to be kidding meh.” “And yo’ outfit looks SO much better, chere.” Rogue frowned. “What are ya…” Rogue looked down at what she was wearing and gaped. It was long sleeved, knee length light green dress, with a….with an…OH GOD….AN APRON. “OH MAH GOD!” Rogue cried, falling out of the tree. Disgust clenched her stomach, and she felt like throwing up. “WHAT IS THIS!?! WHERE ARE WE!?! HEY! YA! STOP! AH WANT SOME AWNSERS!” She screeched, stumbling to her feet, she dived in the direction of the blond. She didn’t even notice that Remy was following her. The girl turned to stare at Rogue before jumping up in the air and…vanishing? Rogue ran to where the girl had been standing. “Where did she…” Remy came up beside her, and pointed down toward the hole near her feet. “No way. NO WAY.” Remy shrugged. “Looks like we aren’ in Kansas anymore, chere.” Rogue scowled. “Wrong story Einstein.” She muttered, staring at the rabbit hole. She had always hated Alice and Wonderland as a child. “Girl jumps down hole, Girl runs around like idiot, Girl gets her head chopped off by loud mouth queen, the end.” Rogue grumbled. Remy frowned, looking thoughtful. “Remys not sure yo’ remember the ending right, chere.” He commented. Rogue looked up at him and frowned. “No, but my way makes a lot more sense.” She retorted. “I sure hope not, chere. Remy got de feeling dat yo’ look better wit’ yo’ head attached t’ yo’ neck” Rogue scowled at him. “What are ya talking about? Are ya saying I’M Alice!?!” Remy glanced down at her wardrobe and shrugged. “If de apron fits…” Rogue scowled, once again made aware of the hideous excuse for clothing she was wearing. “Fine. But if Ah'm Alice, ah guess that make ya Dina.” “Dina?” “The cat.” Remy frowned. “Remy’s non chat.” Rogue shrugged her shoulders, and smirked prettily. “Whatever ya say, Dina.” ---- ...The Librarian gathered up the fallen books, glaring about and muttering about rowdy teenagers. As she picked up one of the books, she noticed it had fallen open to an illustrated page. Reaching for another book, she suddenly did a double take, turning back to the first book. Leaning close she frowned, and shook her head. Her eyes were really playing tricks on her. She could have swore she had just seen one of the pictures give another the middle finger. ---- An image and piece taken from AthenaAlpha's story Rogue in Wonderland, which saddly is no longer up on her site... for the moment. Bascially Rogue and Gambit have been pulled into Wonderland after both trying to recruit a mutant for their teams who's powers ended up placing them into the story. They now have to get to the end of the story as they slowly lose their memories of their normal life. I've adjusted Rogue's clothing from how they were mentioned in the story (made it more fun to draw), but am far from happy with Remy... Rogue and Gambit from X-Men: Evolution.
