10: The Withered Lover - Rogue

Utterly taken for granted in all that she did The Withered Lover cared greatly for her love, but her feelings were not returned. So deep inside her caring nature she did not even notice as she began to deteriorate. She was burned in a terrible fire and died shortly there after in the ambulance. Her lover did not attend the funeral. The Withered Lover travels through Hell looking for anyone to love her, bound and gagged.

My first of 13 in a series I was planning to do (saddly, this is all I have done so far, shame on me) inspired by the Black/Dark Zodiac and Thirteen Ghosts.

Originally I was going to make Rogue the Angry Princess but the Withered Lover seems to suit her more, being an outsider and looking for acceptance but not admitting she wants it. Also how much she has been used, between Apocalypse, Mystique, Magento, Gambit, you name it. Also the fact her crush on Scott went completely unnoticed by him as all he saw was Jean.

Also, the reason the Withered Lover is ten (as different versions show the ghosts/spirits as different numbers) is because that was the order she was in when I first found out about the Black Zodiac. I know she is a different number in the movie.
